Acting and Performing Arts Life Coach Nancy Sears will workshop participants and invite various guest artists to support students in their artistic journey and hone in on their specialty skills. Students will benefit from acting exercises, improvisation, various workshops, and one-on-one life coaching. The Master class serves as an artistic gym, classroom, playground, and social circle for young actors who are serious about working out and expanding their craft together. Artists are encouraged to set their intentions and follow up with a supportive coach and team of performing artists with common goals. The overall goal is to help foster a healthy and positive attitude in a challenging but beautiful and exciting art form. Students learn what it means to live the life of an artist.

 

 Master class is suited for students interested in musical theatre, film, podcast, social media networking, and TV. Specialty workshops will include topics such as choosing the right career path for high school programs, colleges, and professional agents, learning the art of headshots, lighting, uploading auditions, and basic acting skills. The team is knowledgeable, current, and creative. They sprinkle their lessons with artistic life coaching that falls in line with the overall goal of role modeling what it is like to be part of any successful team of performing artists. 

 

Classes will provide private coaching for auditions, scene work, and possible guidance needed for roles in current productions. The studio adapts as much as possible to help support the evolving needs, from school assignments, thespian competitions to amateur and professional auditions.
